Seeking Solitude is a coastal farmhouse-themed cabin designed for a relaxing getaway for a small family, a romantic couple's vacation, or a peaceful setting to mix up your work-from-home environment. This cabin evokes coastal vibes with calming Earth tones and blue hues throughout the spacious floorplan and large windows bringing in tons of natural light and the beauty of the Broken Bow pines. Seeking Solitude is located on a 1.5 acre lot in the secluded Hickory Ridge neighborhood and offers a great amount of privacy for those looking to unplug and recharge.
Seeking Solitude features 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom with hardwood floors, white shiplap interior, and light and tasteful furnishings with coastal flair throughout. There is also a twin-sized day bed with twin trundle in the living room giving the cabin the ability to sleep up to 4 guests. The cabin is conveniently located minutes from Broken Bow proper (including Walmart and Pruett's Grocery) and a short drive to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and several other popular local attractions.
Master Bedroom and Bathroom (sleeps 2) - The master bedroom features a king bed, two nightstands, ceiling fan, Smart HDTV, and a desk with chair for those needing the flexibility to work from home. The room opens to a spacious ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower.
Indoor Living (sleeps 2) - Open floorplan with Smart HDTV, coastal farmhouse décor with calming splashes of blue hues and Earth tones, indoor gas fireplace, twin-sized day bed with twin trundle (doubles as a sofa when not in use), leather sofa, two chairs, and sofa table with a selection of board and card games. *Note that window coverings have been installed in the living room to address guest feedback.
Outdoor Living - The back deck includes an outdoor seating area for 4 around the gas fireplace and Smart HDTV, gas grill, and a hot tub. Step down the stairs for a little nighttime stargazing by the wood-burning fire pit while swaying in the hammocks.
Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare and eat meals during your stay. In the kitchen you will find standard appliances including a gas stove top, island with barstool seating for 4, K-cup and drip coffee maker, blender, full knife set, crock pot, hand mixer, can opener, toaster, grilling tools, ice maker, drinkware, flatware, and dishware.
General Information - This cabin is pet-friendly (up to 2 dogs) with payment of pet fee and manager approval. Smart TVs are capable of accessing guests' personal subscription services. Full-size washer and dryer available in laundry closet. Please also note that this property uses exterior surveillance cameras facing away from and monitoring activity approaching the cabin's entrances. Gas fireplaces are seasonally available (October-April). Maximum occupancy for this cabin is 4, no exceptions.

Totality heaven. Great cabin
by Bob CoxGreat cabin for a couple. We had a fantastic time and watched the eclipse right in the front yard. We hosted some visitors and everyone loved the place. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need. Just couldn’t get the fan to work in the living room and I didn’t want to bother anybody on the day of the eclipse.
Lovely cabin
by Melissa PuskacMy husband, 5month old baby, and 2 dogs had a lovely stay! The cabin is decorated beautifully! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The fireplaces were very nice and added a nice ambiance. The cabin was very clean and the property quite nice. The only suggestion would be to clean off the couch cushions and patio as they were covered in yellow pollen. There was construction behind us that was a bit loud, but we still enjoyed our time on the patio. We would definitely come back!
Beautiful Cabin Couples Getaway
by Misty W.We loved this cabin! Beautiful place. Everything we needed was there, including all the kitchen utensils. We loved the back patio and the hot tub with the fireplace. Great for a couples getaway. We loved that we could bring our fur kids to enjoy the great outdoors as well. Our reason for the 4 stars is what others have mentioned. There are no window covering options in the living room area. I wasn’t too worried about the ones on the side of the house, but mostly the ones facing the road. Anyone driving by and the cabin across the street could see right in. We kept the lights of most of the evening just to avoid people seeing in. Maybe just offering covering for those front windows would be helpful. It’s a beautiful cabin and we had no other suggestions!!! Loved our stay here!

Great cabin, felt like a fish bowl
by C & DGreat cabin and we really enjoyed our stay with 1 exception... window coverings! I loved the tile in the living area. The bed was very comfortable. Linens and towels were abundant and good quality. TVs were nice. Fireplaces were excellent. Kitchen and facilities were great. The back patio was fantastic. Our issue (may not be for others) was the complete lack of window coverings in the living/kitchen area. Anyone driving by could easily see anything and everything we were doing. We felt like we were staying in a fish bowl. It was nice being able to see out during the day but evening/night made us a little uneasy as we had no option to close them off and keep our neighbors from seeing in. The bedroom did have shades so no issues there. Again, this may not be an issue for most people but it was for us. We wouldn\'t stay here again unless there were window coverings of some type. That is the reason for the 1-star deduction. Apart from that issue, everything was absolutely top notch. Get some window coverings and you\'ll earn that 5th star in our opinion.
Beautiful Accommodations as Pictured!
by S BucherWonderful cabin, clean, light, bright, and beautifully decorated with elegant simplicity! All needs are provided for the stay! We enjoyed our time to unwind from daily city life! I do agree that due to closeness of other cabins, traffic and workers coming and going, shades on the lower windows for privacy would be helpful. Also would help any guests using the living room for sleeping.
Fabulous Place
by Tarilyn McbrideI cannot express how much we enjoyed staying here! Everything was perfect! It was large and roomy for two people and a dog. It was quiet and relaxing and had everything we needed. The hammock swings outside were a very relaxing treat as was the back patio And the whole house. We would definitely come here again! My only suggestion would be to add shades to the living room windows, and a can opener but other than that I would move in in a second.
